In 1999, Gerard Boucher built his first website, and with a passion for digital media, soon launched an entertainment website. Serving as CEO, Gerard built customer loyalty, customer engagement, and a successful brand. The website grew to a 20-person staff and attracted visitors from 100+ countries, with 100,000+ monthly hits.
Gerard founded Boucher + Co. (B+C) in 2007, applying his knowledge to businesses looking for an exceptional digital strategy. As B+C’s lead Brand Ambassador, he spearheads agency growth, sales, and operations. He loves discovering new ways to drive engagement and visibility.
Gerard is a member of the American Marketing Association and the PRSA. As a keynote speaker at the Fashion Digital Conference in Los Angeles, he led a panel on digital marketing for e-commerce brands. He has also participated in Thought Leaders in Business, a monthly gathering of business owners who debate growth strategies. Born in NYC, Gerard has experimented with entrepreneurship since childhood. In his spare time, he mentors business owners, is passionate about politics and history, and spends lots of time outdoors. He attended Baruch College, studying communications and public affairs.
As Principal and Operations Advisor at Boucher + Co., David Zaremba is responsible for keeping track of the company’s new business opportunities, keeping track of the company’s finances, and identifying and planning strategic partnerships.
Born and raised in Staten Island, David is a native New Yorker. He joined the Boucher + Co. team in 2012. During his tenure with Boucher + Co., he grew the agency’s client base and annual billings, and worked with the founding team on taking the company to the next level.
David divides his time between New York City and South Florida, where he keeps a residence. He graduated from Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York with a degree in Corporate Communications.
Erin leads our Accounts team and is responsible for meeting with clients and walking them through everything digital marketing, helping them learn in the process. Erin’s day-to-day duties include interfacing with clients, walking clients through every step of their relationship with Boucher + Co., reviewing client performance, and making recommendations that help grow our clients’ businesses.
Erin loves to learn, keeping up on the latest trends in social media, marketing, and fashion. In her spare time, Erin loves spending time with family, friends, and good company, visiting some of New York’s best hotspots, and enjoying great food and an even better Cabernet. She is a fan of the teams that constantly break your heart – the Mets, Jets, and Islanders.
Erin graduated from Mount Saint Mary College, where she was the captain of the lacrosse team. She lives in New York City’s Astoria neighborhood.
Matt is a true serial entrepreneur and published author. He has started several companies over the years. In 2015, Matt became Director of Operations at Boucher + Co. In this role, he is responsible for project management, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, assisting with inside and outside sales, and supporting the client service team.
He co-founded Netlan, an early computer networking company, and managed it for 15 years as the computer services industry rapidly changed. He then sold the firm to a NASDAQ listed e-commerce company.
Matt lives in New York City with his wife. In his free time, he loves to go biking, skiing, and golfing.
Stephanie is the Social Media Manager at B+C. As the newest addition to the team, Stephanie is responsible for collaborating with the agency team on the implementation of social media campaign strategies, developing monthly social media calendars, coordinating with the creative team on asset creation, and assuring that all creative satisfies client objectives.
Born and raised on Long Island, Stephanie is a graduate of Adelphi University with a BA in Communication and Media Studies. When she’s not busy studying the latest trends in digital media, Stephanie can be heard loudly singing show tunes, listening to true crime podcasts, watching her favorite Disney movies, and looking for her next caffeine fix.
Michelle is an Associate Creative Strategist at Boucher + Co. where she straddles both the creative and business sides of advertising. Michelle strives to present the best and most valuable content as well as showcasing various campaigns for our clients. Additionally, Michelle delves into all the aspects of developing advertisement concepts, graphic design, and copyrighting.
She grew up on Long Island and is currently enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is working her way toward receiving an Associate’s Degree in Textile Development & Marketing as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications.
Michelle loves keeping up with and following new and emerging trends in fashion, social media, and current events. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and seven cute nieces and nephews.
Simone is a creative problem solver with a natural inclination towards math and logic. She realized her passion for design and development at a young age and has been obsessed with it ever since. Her love of the tech and design industry continued in to her 20’s and was the driving force behind her pursuing a Bachelors in Communication Design. Simone graduated from NYCCT with Cum Laude honors.
In addition to her dedication of art and design, Simone has dedicated much of her time to learning and keeping up with the latest front and back end technologies. This makes her the perfect fit for the role of Lead Visual Designer at Boucher + Co. Merging her design background with her fluency in coding enables her to create spectacular websites for clients of all types.
When Simone isn’t glued to her desktop, she loves to indulge in her other artistic hobbies or escape the city to quench her wanderlust. Some of her more favorite pass-times are sewing, illustration, and photo retouching.
Theresa is one of Boucher + Co.’s talented Brand Strategists who work tirelessly to ensure that clients working with Boucher + Co. are successful. She conducts brand analysis’ through qualitative and quantitative research including competitive audits and then turns her findings into brand positioning, and brand purpose. When research is said and done, she drafts creative briefs for the team to translate her findings into content that converts.
Theresa has worked in public affairs for multiple government agencies but left the world of government to take on social strategy roles at several startups. Her main passion is planning not-for-profit events to raise awareness of causes dear to her. She also successfully produces and executes a bi-coastal festival in Washington, D.C., and California called Broccoli City!
When she’s not online searching the latest trends on social media, as an avid foodie, she’s trying a new restaurant. You’ll find Theresa finding and reviewing the nearest vegan spots and eating gluten-free cookies in NYC. At Boucher + Co., Theresa is excited to leverage her background in social media, communication strategy, and content creation in her day-to-day work.
Stacy is a jane-of-all-trades with experience in a variety of artistic disciplines. As a lover of artistic expression she enjoys finding new ways to channel her artistic energy and has expanded her knowledge into niches like book binding, cosplay and jewelry design. Stacy began practicing hard coding websites and toying around with retouching concepts long before even considering pursing a degree. Ultimately she attended NYCCT where she received her Bachelors in Graphic Design. She was considered one of the top students in her graduating class due to her exceptional work in her senior project and graduated with Cum Laude honors.
Despite having attended school for design and utilizing her skills for a variety of personal and professional projects Stacy has found she has a strong passion for photography and post production. As such she has cultivated her skills as a photographer and retoucher as well as honed her skills as a designer making her a multitalented powerhouse. The top it off she recently has becoming more familiar with social media and blogging on a professional level. When she is not brainstorming up new photo shoot ideas (or shooting them!), learning new retouching techniques or creating graphics to satisfy her designer cravings she can be found creating intricate costumes found from anime and video games, adventuring around the city or expressing her artistic desires physically through experimenting with flow arts and dancing.
Michael is the company’s ‘Seasoned Voice of Reason’ and lends it to many of us. He has developed sales, marketing and operations plans for both early-stage and mature companies, and has been involved in the management of several start ups. As an investment and commercial banker, he has raised debt and equity financing for more than 115 companies. Additionally, he co-founded Netlan, a computer networking pioneer, and led it for 15 years as personal and commercial networking rapidly grew.
Michael comes on board for projects that require special attention to help consult when projects need more than marketing genius and innovation. If your company is missing the mark in any area, he’ll help get it fixed.
He is a proud New Yorker and has been an Upper West Side resident for years. You’ll find him out on the town with his wife or at networking events across the city. He never turns down a wine tasting or a great meal.
